We varnished eight layers of Interlux Schooner just mid last year after stripping it down to the bare wood.
In early 2023, we hauled out and had a very thorough bottom job done. The anti-fauling was due and two cutlass bearings needed to be replaced as well. We spared no expense here and used two coats of ablative anti-fauling as well as tiecoat around all metals to protect the boat even more.
At that time, we also removed an unused seacock, replaced the raw water inlet seacock for the master bathroom head, as well as replaced all zinks,
